"griff" (which is a hero WOD, so for that i DO like it)
for time:
Run 800m
Run 400m backwards
Run 800m
Run 400m backwards
time 12:40
i mean maybe i did not push myself hard enough or something i dunno, maybe deep down i hate running (which i do). the army has made running not fun, when i see people who are just running for fun i am like you go girl, but you will never see me run on my own. like, i cant do it. i hate it. i would rather run 10 miles in my body armor (which i have done time: 2:11:26) than run up and down the street. that is all the army does is run. during pt hours one of the main roads on post is shutdown so people can run; but not quickly. these units run slower than a snail snailing downhill. its fuckin pathetic. and commanders wonder why their soldiers cant pass the PT test LOOK AT WHAT THEY DO EVERY MORNING!!! pt is a way for unit commanders to maintain and sustain the force. where improvement happens is on the individual. running is a slow ass formation will not make you pass your 2 mile run any faster. doing group pushups and situps will not make you score more points on those events. but you know what does help? smoking a goddamn carton of cigarettes everyday, that helps (as you all know i used to smoke heavily, yes, even after pt at UAB, and now i see Soldiers do the same thing and i want to die, i guess i should say i dont smoke anymore hahaha) anywho i digress. CrossFit used to be forced on me by my BC and i hated every minute of it, but now that i do it on my own i LOOOVE it. some people have passions like smoking and playing videogames, i enjoy a good WOD and an occasional cold beer. i just really encourage all of you to find somthing physical that you like and eat sleep and breathe nothing but that. if you yoga try to get that extra inch of movement flexibility, if you spin, crank that resistance up a notch or two, if you run, turn back around and run up that hill a few more times, when you park your car park out in the boondocks so you can walk a little further i wish that Americans would take what we are (the greatest people ever hahahahaha) and really focus on our health. OH GOOOD GOD, here is another one: the KFC double down, holy christ in heaven are you kidding me??? "so big it cant fit a bun" more like "so much fat blood cant get to my heart" un-be-liev-a-ble eat up America, i got your health care tab...
