Chillin' with dave and oden; "shawdy whatchu sippin on???"

this weekend marked the first time i have seen dmb in over a year and the first time i have seen them since the passing of leroi. eriks cousin hooked us UP with fantastic tickets. all three of us were about 6-7 rows back, center. the show was phenominal. dave played quite a few "older" songs to include "the maker" which is a pretty rare tune. the weather was shiteous (thanks perez hilton for the word) oden and his goats toothgnasher and toothgrinder were on a run n gun in the sky. it was so bad that the dallas cowboys training "bubble" blew up, well over. we were sitting in the parking lot at the show sippin brews and watching people run around and pee behind cars. but then oden and his goats decided to go home. i sent peter a text message that was supposed to go to katie, so peter got a sweet message hahaha. i also gave him a new nickname; machspeed crankshaft. it is fitting. Eriks cousin carrie flew in from LA and stayed in a sweet hotel (erik and i stayed near the interstate, gotta love reward points) anywho we partied on the tenth floor of her hotel friday night. there was a pool and a bar and a ton of cougars, and by cougars i mean cougars, the actual cat. not really. just a bunch of women not acting there age. at one point erik non challantly mentioned "hey those two chicks are making out" to which carrie replied attention whores. i was at the bar getting drinks and this attractive female leaned over and stared at me in the face. i was like can i help you? she told me to stay put because there was a guy creepily staring at her. i immediately thought it was erik. so we rocked out there and laughed at the ridiculous people and called it a night. saturday erik and i went driving. we went to a camera store called... cooters... BUT it was in highland park village and let me just say this place was full of store where the people working dont even give you the time of day. we did go into the beretta store where we saw $9000 shotguns, impeccable. then oden came out which i already mentioned and we saw dave. truly great weekend.
